Also I am getting more and more intrigued by Drake Donovan too – leader of this rat pack of lethal shifters, what with him injured and healing away in USA at Jake Bannaconni’s estate. He moved through the underbrush, his fur sliding silently along the leaves of numerous bushes. How did one learn charisma? Connor feels like shite for what he did to his true mate and feels he doesn’t deserve her. Wouldn’t have even known she was a leopard at all.
Conner Vega is a beautiful terrifying leopard shifter. He had always been a fast shifter, a necessity living in the rainforest surrounded by predators. Now thrown together again, Isabeau tries to resist the attraction between them and Conner will do anything to win her back. Unbeknownst to him, he was sent to seduce information out of then virgin Isabeau Chandler, and take down her father.
This guy is the lowest of the low, completely crazy, and he savages Isabeau. His breath caught in his lungs. Isabeau had been so shocked. Conner and his men have been asked to take the operation out and rescue these children.

When Conner has to go through with the mission, Isabeau wilfire the rest of the group talk Conner into allowing her to accompany them to Imelda’s. Ten more feet into the forest the sunlight disappeared altogether. Feehan is so good at writing.

Conner is a leopard shapeshifter who works for an exclusive group of men. Finally, and this is the biggest one, is the violence, especially sexual violence perpetrated on the women in Feehan books.
